Everyone knows perhaps the best ball game ever – basketball. In turn, to play basketball, it is enough to have a ball, a ring-shaped basket and a desire to play. Classic basketball is a fast-paced, exciting-paced team confrontation. Each athlete on the court gets the opportunity to play both offensively and defensively. Basketball is played by two teams of 5 people on the field (a total of 12 people in a team) with an unlimited number of substitutions over 4 periods of 10 or 12 minutes of net time. (10 minutes in FIBA games, and 12 minutes in NBA game)

Soccer

The most popular sport in the world is football.  Throughout the years, the goal of football has remained unchanged – to score the ball into the opponent’s goal as many times as possible. The intensity of emotions, tension of the struggle and sports drive are inherent not only in football players, but also in fans.

Football is played on a rectangular ground measuring 90 to 120 meters in length and 45 to 90 meters in width with artificial or natural green turf, most often grass. The fight consists of two halves of 45 minutes each with a break of 15 minutes. The matches are attended by teams of 11 people, including the goalkeeper. The number of substitutes is also governed by modern rules and ranges from three to twelve. The generally accepted division of football players into three roles – goalkeeper, striker and defender. Each of them has their own responsibilities on the field. 

Final Thoughts

Of course, both games have different size of courts, players, not to mention ball shapes and colors. Sports brings larger numbers of fans in to stadium or arenas, huge auditory on TV. So if teams are bringing victories or more less fight until the end, that quarantines support will not end after one game. It goes without saying, both sports every games starts and ends at referee call a whistle.
